Payment & Refunds Policy

At Zirwah Car Rental, we value transparency, trust, and customer satisfaction. To ensure a seamless rental experience, please review our Payment & Refund Policy, which outlines how bookings, deposits, cancellations, and refunds are handled.
 

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We offer multiple secure payment options for your convenience:

  • Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)

  • Bank Transfers (for corporate or long-term rentals)

  • Cash Payments (subject to approval)

  • Apple Pay & Google Pay

All payments must be completed prior to the vehicle handover or rental period start.
 

2. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required before each rental. The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle category and rental duration.

Deposits are held for up to 30 days to account for UAE traffic fines, Salik (toll) charges, or damage reporting timelines.

Security Deposit Payment Options:

  • Credit Card Authorization (Preferred): The deposit amount is blocked temporarily and automatically released upon vehicle return.

  • Bank Transfer or Cash Deposit: Refunds are processed within 7–30 days depending on the bank’s processing time and clearance of pending fines.
     

3. Pricing & Additional Charges

All rental prices are based on the daily rate, vehicle type, rental period, and selected add-ons.

  • Prices include basic insurance as required by UAE law.

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT (5%) and any additional requested services.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Late returns beyond the agreed time.

  • Traffic fines, Salik tolls, and violations.

  • Vehicle damage or misuse not covered by insurance.
     

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Zirwah offers flexible cancellation options:

Free Cancellation:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time are eligible for a full refund.

Late Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup may incur a one-day rental fee.

  • No-shows or failure to collect the vehicle without prior notice will result in a 100% charge for the first rental day.
     

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed according to the payment method used and in compliance with the above cancellation terms.

  • Credit/Debit Card Refunds: Processed within 7–14 business days.

  • Bank Transfer Refunds: Processed within 10–30 business days depending on the bank.

  • Cash Refunds: Processed within 7 business days (where applicable).

Non-Refundable Charges:

  • Security deposit (until all fines and tolls are cleared).

  • Unused rental days if the vehicle is returned early.

  • Insurance upgrades and additional service fees.
     

6. Early Return Policy

If you choose to return the vehicle earlier than the agreed rental period, no refunds or partial credit will be issued.
If you anticipate a shorter rental duration, please notify us in advance — we’ll do our best to adjust your booking accordingly.
 

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

To ensure a fair resolution process, we encourage customers to contact Zirwah directly for any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback.

  • Zirwah reserves the right to dispute chargeback claims with full evidence of service delivery.

  • Fraudulent chargeback attempts or misuse of payment systems may result in legal action and blacklisting from future rentals.
